In the first installment of the Korean director/writer duo's new trilogy "A Woman Called Ahn" the story goes like this: "A Woman Called Ahn" (2017) is the third installment of the Korean film trilogy "A Woman Called Ahn" and it is the first Korean film about an Asian woman in the second half of the 20th century. The story follows a young Korean woman called Ahn who works in an art gallery and works alone. She has a contract with a wealthy businessman who lives in the United States and helps Ahn obtain her art. Her contract is signed by Ahn's father in Korea and is signed by her sister in Korea. Ahn is willing to follow the contract but her sister in Korea does not want to have Ahn follow the contract. In the end, Ahn's sister in Korea does not want to have Ahn follow the contract and she is forced to sign the contract. The film is very realistic, the story is very believable and the acting is very well done. The cinematography, the lighting and the costumes are very well done. The script is very good and the message is very well conveyed. The director/writer, Jo Ji-hyun is the most recognized Korean director working today and has directed some very impressive films, such as "A Woman Called Ahn", "Hwangnam Son-sik", "Girl, Interrupted" and "A Woman Called Ahn". He has also directed a couple of Korean films, such as "The Secret" and "Gorat". I have always been a big fan of his films, so I was very excited to see "A Woman Called Ahn". "A Woman Called Ahn" is a very realistic, well made and well acted film. I have to say that the director/writer, Jo Ji-hyun did an excellent job on this film. The director and writer have a lot of experience in this genre of films and the story of "A Woman Called Ahn" is very realistic and very well done. I highly recommend this film. It is very well done and realistic and I give this film an 8/10. My final rating is 8/10.
