I had high expectations, which I unfortunately lost. I was really disappointed. First, a little bit of the story was disappointing, it didn't explain the killer's background, how he came to kill and why. Also, I liked a part of the ending where the killer really showed his true colors, I know it's not easy to say this, but when the killer breaks down and tells to the police his story, I understood what the message the movie is trying to send. But, I guess the majority of the people who saw the film were expecting it to show the horror of the real world of drugs, being caught in a situation which you are not ready for. This is a film that could be criticized for being too dark and gruesome, but the reality is, this is a very realistic drama. Everyone is afraid to die, yet everyone is not happy when someone dies. I think that the ending was a good idea, it made me feel sad and make me want to see the next part of the story. I thought that there was a little more to the story. I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. I'm happy that I was able to see this movie, but if I didn't see it, I would have missed out on another scary movie, another thriller, another horror film. The person who thinks that this film is a little bit too dark and gory should watch The Blair Witch Project or Exists. Not the other way around. I think this film is very good, I would give it a 9.

I think the original movie was a good movie and the second movie wasn't bad. The only thing I think was way to much was it was too dark and too funny. I would rather the original than this one. In fact I think the original movie was better than this one.

This is a great one. Usually if you go see a horror film you have a "good" reason to go, the characters might even "flip" to your position, or a bad reason, and thats fine, the point is just to be entertained. Like a film noir that says you're watching a film noir and then all of a sudden you're actually watching the noir. I would've liked to see more of Christine actually enjoying her life and going to class instead of constantly in the "other place". When her boyfriend acts up, then she switches to the little girl from the other neighborhood. In a sense its a film noir for grown ups like me but it's very original. And of course I have to mention Ryan Kwanten who you'll know has a future in film noir.

The film is absolutely awesome. In the beginning I didn't believe this could be the best Australian horror film ever. The more I watched, the more I realized how amazing this movie is. The movie takes the thriller and action genres, and blends them into one entertaining ride. If you can find it, watch this movie. The theme is a standard 'scare you' type of horror film, and yet it is so much more. It shows that you don't have to have a gore or blood to be scary. The movie is very dark, and yet it still has a fair bit of humour. The soundtrack is phenomenal, and the whole film is worth watching for it's music alone. The acting in the film is also incredible, the characters are incredibly well written, and it gives them depth. The cast did a fantastic job of making you care about these characters. They were fun, dynamic, and unique. I would highly recommend watching this film. It's a great movie. 9/10

I have seen A History of Violence and this film is a sequel to that film. This film is better than A History of Violence in many ways. They both have a few holes in the plot that give the film an even stronger sense of realism. The atmosphere of A History of Violence is very unique. The atmosphere in the film is not set up and filled with the wrong people, like in most low budget horror films. The story is interesting. It goes like this: from one man, Dicaprio, to another man, Estevez. The entire plot is actually very well done. All the actors do a great job. All of the characters are unique, a few are very good and great, the rest are average at best. The story is interesting and takes you through several different levels of horror. The mystery is created well. The whole film is a mystery, and will keep you guessing. This film is also a big surprise. The ending was disappointing but the film didn't end. There are a few scenes of the main character, who is a cop, taking a bath, and he is killed in the end. His last words are "I want to die on a beach. that's all I want." It is a very good film that will leave you thinking about it for a long time. For those who like a good horror film and some suspense, I recommend this film.

After a film such as this, any other reviewers who claim that this film is a disservice to the original would be dead wrong. It is the same thing as saying, 'A Bronx Tale is not as good as The Wizard of Oz.' But in my opinion, it is absolutely great. It is even more amazing to me that so many reviews said, 'The real fear in this film is that the audience will be so engrossed in the film that they will forget that there is a thing called reality.'. The truth is that there are things in the real world that are much more interesting than that. There is an interesting psychological, psychological, psychological fight. A very exciting one. And, just when we thought we knew the outcome, the human mind will always go to other, more important things. But I will not get too deep into that, because I feel like I could spoil the film for those who have not seen it. So, to sum it up, I think this film is awesome. What more can I say?
