I had never heard of this movie before I watched it, but from the first seconds of it, I was thoroughly engaged in what was unfolding. There were times where I found myself starting to cry for no reason. The story is very suspenseful. At the same time, I'm surprised at how slow it is for the majority of the film, to which it might have been better if there were more jump-scares or some more dialogue, etc. I really liked the production, makeup, costumes, etc. Of course I'm sure you can find them online, but I thought they did a good job with what they had. One of the things that I really like about this movie is the fact that the story is set in a graveyard. We see funeral homes, people get laid to rest, so when you're in a cemetery, it's real. No artificial lighting, nothing trying to make it look like daytime, because the story is set during the night, which is just the time we are in. It's like it's actually in the grave. I thought this was another highlight of the movie. I liked the message. It was very moving, and was more sad and dark than I expected it to be. The dialogue was good, but I did find myself liking the fact that the antagonist of the movie is the son. He's smart, and understanding. It's the mother's doing to make her son miserable, but I liked the fact that it was the mother, not the son, that made him so miserable, because the son was always in a bad mood. I also liked the fact that it was a true story. I also liked that the movie was made from the point of view of the hero. It made it different than many others that are based off of true stories. It made it more personal for me, instead of being based off the hero, or some other character that I didn't care about. I also loved the music, because it was truly amazing. I do think that it is very classy and fitting. I do think that it takes a while for the movie to get going, but once it does, it's a very good movie. I thought the ending was quite powerful and realistic, and I did think that the villain's motives were too obvious. It was always obvious that he was the bad guy, and the villain wanted to get rid of the good guy. I also thought that his goal was made more clear when he tried to kill her. Also, I did think that the ending was a bit weird. I don't know if I would call it a twist, but the way it was made was weird. If they had done it differently, it would have been better. I also did think that the movie was overlong. It could have easily been one hour or less. If it had been at least an hour shorter, I would have loved it. I loved the way they ended it. It was a good ending, but I wish they had made it a bit better. Overall, I thought it was a good movie. I really enjoyed the message and the way they told the story. I'm sure that it is not for everyone, but it is still one of my favorites. It did have a lot of scary moments, but it also had a lot of good ones. Overall, it was a good movie.

A good movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's not over the top, just like every horror movie. The cast is great. Jude Law is probably the best part of this movie. The movie is not so bad, but it is not perfect. The acting is uneven, the pace of the movie is off, the fight scenes are OK, and the plot holes are huge. But overall, I think that this is a great movie. 9 out of 10

This is a good movie. It is visually stunning and very suspenseful. The tension is very good. It is a good movie for all. The three lead actors are good. I will give this movie 9/10. Thank you and enjoy.

First of all let me say I really like the film, I have a feeling that it has the fans cheering for it and that they are raving about it. They also like it a lot. The main problem I had with the film is that it takes a while to get to the point, it moves at a slow pace and most of the scenes are to me very frustrating, they just make little sense. The ending is also very disappointing and pointless, I don't care how many similarities it has with other horror films, it is still not a good enough reason to watch it. Also, I didn't feel it took a special enough turn. Yes, it is the same idea as The Conjuring, but it could have been more effective, and if it had more sense it could have been a classic. The plot, and how it is set up, has the same mechanics as the first three. You start to have a few pictures and the two are paired, when they meet they see that they both have an eerie aura about them. The main problem is that it wasn't anything too scary. I am a big fan of the first film but this film, it wasn't any different to the first one and the final three were nothing much special. It is a dark film with plenty of flaws but a really good film. It is about a psychic woman who becomes a mother in the end and her son starts to look into her life and she starts to really find what she does for a living, it is a thriller with a message. It is just a shame that it needed to have such a poor story and that it was so slow. It could have been so much more effective.

The Nun. I think I would be pleased if the Nun was made in the 80's instead of the 1980's. That is all I know. It's an excellent movie! The fact that it was filmed on the set of the 80's is not good enough to win me over because I was an 80's kid. So, I had to watch it again and again to remember everything about it. I like the story and the characters. I like the setting, the atmosphere, the cinematography, and the lighting. And I'm happy to say that I was never bored. I had fun watching this movie. I'd like to see it on the big screen, but I'm not sure it will be there. I don't think it would be up to a theater with a $30,000 dollar screen.

This is a movie about a nun in the English Cemetery, trying to find her daughter, while a suspicious reporter/photographer investigate the story. Sounds pretty dark, but there's a twist and it's really well done. I think it's the combination of great acting, a beautiful cinematography, a strong story, and well done horror and psychological twists. A well done movie that stands out from the crowd. Highly recommended.9/10

Went to the cinema expecting to see another ghost movie. I didn't expect much after the first film. Well, what I got was. Another dark movie with a twist. And a twist of the greatest kind. The film starts with a girl who seems to have a mental condition. And the condition seems to lead her to sometimes wanting to kill people. At the beginning it seems like it is going to be an ordinary ghost movie with some fancy camera work. However, it took me a little while to feel completely comfortable with the movie. As it goes on, I started to find that this film was a bit hard to understand. But it only added to my enjoyment. Not to mention that the story is quite original. And also the actors are great, especially the actors of the lead actors. Like I said before, this is the kind of movie that you shouldn't expect from a horror movie. However, if you like horror movies, you are bound to be impressed. I hope you enjoy this film.

I enjoyed this movie, and in particular, the flashbacks to the past which were useful to the plot. The only thing I felt was that this movie did not seem to end in the way I was expecting it to, I felt like there were a few loose ends, but I can't complain much because I am going to see it again on the big screen and I was actually surprised it was a relatively short running time, with the extra scenes with the priest, the nun and the boy and nun's father were great. I did feel like the beginning of the movie felt like it was dragging on, but once it got to the end of it, I enjoyed the movie, but felt like it could have gone further.

Let me start off by saying I've only seen this film 3 times, I haven't seen the first time back in 2009 so I can't compare it to this film or the first. I think it is quite a good film, even though I know the ending. I will start off by saying this is a great film, but it is not for everyone. The acting was great, the effects were very well done and I thought the story was really great. This film is a film that is very scary. There are scenes where the effects look really fake, but I thought it was great. I found myself really, really scared. One thing that I didn't like was when she was seen in her room with the ghost in the attic. That scene could have been better because you don't really see it. There are other things that I think are not good for everyone, like the house next door, the animals and all the animals and that guy, I didn't like that either. I thought the story was really good and I thought the ending was a great twist. Overall, it was a really good film, definitely a lot better then the first one. There are definitely some flaws, but if you have the time then watch it, I hope you enjoy it. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Just got back from seeing this new movie. It's the first one I've seen from the right production company and I feel bad for giving an honest opinion on a movie that so far was at the top of my list of movies to go see. I must say that I did not feel like I did the first time around, but this time it was different. The effects were more realistic and you felt like you were right there with them, along with the back drop. But what truly surprised me the most is the eerie score by Rob Zombie. I mean the score was so dark it was almost like a horror movie. You couldn't see the actors because the score played so well and matched the movie perfectly. I've never had that feeling before and I'm so glad I did. When I think about the movie, this movie truly does make me feel like I was in that very room and its scares and audio are definitely enough to keep me up at night. The plot was kind of bad, but who cares? The movie still had more to it than just the plot and I enjoyed it so much more this time around. The special effects in this movie are impressive. Everything is still there and it's great. This movie gets a nine out of ten. The person who gave this a low score, I'm sorry but that person's review does not reflect how I feel about this movie.

This is a scary movie with a twist. The camera work was very good, and the actors did a good job in the acting. The gore and spooky elements worked great together, and the ending was very interesting and worked well with the story. The ending was one of the most perfect endings I've ever seen. When you think about it, the reason why the witch was able to control the child in the first place, was because she saw her own daughter die from witchcraft. When the children see her daughter die, and the old woman gives the child a bottle of witch's blood, it really shows the old woman is a witch. The witch really scares me in this movie, and I really hope she gets her due. This is one of my favorite horror movies, and I recommend this to everyone. The priest was creepy, and the nun was frightening. The only part that bothered me was the ending. It just left me wondering what happens, and I don't think the director gave a good answer. Overall, a great horror movie with a twist. 8.5/10

I got this movie for my mom because she is an avid movie watcher. She said she didn't like any of the others she has watched. She said she was surprised by this movie. I thought the story was great and the acting was great. If you like a good scary movie with an ending that you can't get out of your head.

I did not expect this movie to be good but I did expect it to be very good. I loved the acting, the story line, and the special effects. I do not remember a good horror movie since I saw "The Sixth Sense" and this was a good movie. You could say it was scary. The story line was very interesting. If you are into scary movies, this is the movie to see. I am not an expert on ghosts, so I cannot say how good the acting is in this movie. However, if you like this type of movie, you will like it.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've seen a horror movie with such a great story and with such a great cast. But "The Nun" is what I was looking for. It's a movie that is very intense, has a great cast, and has a great twist. It's the type of movie that scares you, freaks you out, and leaves you thinking about what the heck just happened. This is one of the most unique movies I've ever seen in my entire life, and I'm definitely going to see it again. There is a lot to say about this movie. I want to say that this movie is without a doubt a brilliant horror movie, but I'm going to go into a bit more detail. I thought this movie was going to be a little bit weird, but there was a lot to this movie that I didn't like. I thought this movie had a really good ending, but I'm still not sure what it was. Overall, this is a great movie, and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. PS: I'm glad that these movies don't make you think about it for a couple hours after watching, that's why I gave it a 9/10.

I just saw this film for the first time today, and I was amazed at how good it was. This movie is very different from most horror films out there, but it's not too over-the-top, and you actually can make a connection with the characters. It is very well directed and has a great feel about it. I was really interested in the story because it kept me on my seat, and I was really excited to see the ending. If you have an open mind, you will love this movie. It's a little scary at times, but don't take it too serious, because it is not meant to be serious. I would definitely recommend this movie to people who like horror movies, because it is very different from most other horror films, and it's better for it.

Well the final installment of the popular series is the best one yet. And the critics and the audience agree. The movie has a new plot, new characters, new scenes and it keeps you guessing till the very end. And you have to love the sense of dread and the atmosphere of this horror-thriller. It is totally different than the previous two instalments, not just in its story but also in its atmosphere and its darkness. You can feel the atmosphere of the entire movie, because its a modern movie and that is something that is never seen in any other movie series. And the score is outstanding. I've never seen any movie like this before, the score is so powerful that it gets you into the story and you can't take your eyes off it. I could go on and on about the different elements, but i just want to say one thing: do not expect a plot, expect something else. Everything in this movie is leading you to a darker place and that is what it is all about. So go see it and tell everyone about it. You won't regret it.

I've always been a fan of the film, and I think it's a shame they didn't even bother remaking it, or a remake with good actors and music. The story is very original and will remain interesting for generations to come. So many movies come out every year like the remake of Hellraiser. Well, there's no denying the special effects and set designs are amazing, but its what the story holds. I really enjoyed the story and loved the way they created the surroundings. The atmosphere is eerie, and the monsters are very impressive and creepy. I'm not going to lie and say I'm a horror buff. But I'm a fan of this genre. In the beginning I was expecting a movie about a nun getting possessed by a demon, and seeing the movie ended up being a horror film of the supernatural. And while I did enjoy the film, I don't think it's as good as some say. And, I have to say, I did enjoy it. I enjoyed the whole film and was in the mood for some horror. The story is good, and it does have a few plot holes, but still I thought it was good. So I'd say I recommend the film, it's a must see.

This is my first comment on IMDb, and honestly I don't think I should. First of all I am not trying to censor myself, I just wanted to say that the film was great. The cinematography is stunning, the acting is very good and the story line is great. The idea of the story is the best I have ever seen, and it is definitely a masterpiece. The only thing I would like to say is that I think the atmosphere is very good, you will find the main character really likable and even the monster. The first thing I would like to say is that the music is not so great, it could be better. It fits well, but I think it is a bit too short and easy to listen to. There are some other minor things, but everything else is perfect. The thing that makes this film great is the strong performance by Jamie Bell, the scene where he gets bitten is truly sickening, and I have never seen such a scene in a film before. That scene is terrifying, I will never forget it. The ending is great, and also pretty realistic. So overall, I think that it is a very good film. If you want to watch a real horror movie, I recommend you to watch this one. I gave it an A.

For the first time I have seen a movie with such high expectations, and the first 30 minutes or so were a bit underwhelming, but as the movie goes on it builds on the tension. The first 15 minutes or so are about being good while they try to piece together the facts and discover the truth. They work out a pattern of murders and their location, then they set out to get the evidence. As they piece the pieces together it becomes clear that someone is killing the nun and her friends. But all is not as it seems. When I say this movie builds on the tension I am not just talking about the first 15 minutes, because it does build a little more on that. As the movie goes on, you begin to suspect that the nun is not who she says she is, and is actually being killed. By the time it gets to the end the movie has built a good amount of tension. The acting is all pretty good, but one of the main reasons the movie works is the setting. The film feels like you are in a home where something horrible happened, and you are watching the movie through the eyes of the nun. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the plot in the beginning, but it was still good. In the end, the movie was enjoyable, but I feel like the ending was a bit of a letdown. You see the nun being buried, but you never see her make it back to the surface. If you are reading this review you are probably already seeing where I am going with this, but if you haven't already I would say go see the movie, it is a great thriller. Definitely worth your money.

I love this movie, the ending was a little rushed, but it's great! It has a great storyline, and will keep you guessing until the end. The cast is awesome, with a great performance by Emma Watson and JK Simmons. The effects are also very good, and the locations are perfect. This is one of my favorite horror movies, and will keep you guessing. Definitely a good movie.

I have to say I am quite surprised by how good this movie was. I was skeptical at first because I had heard how bad this film was. Boy was I wrong. I had read reviews that all said how bad the acting was, how the plot was weak, etc. But, the thing is, I was still convinced that the movie was going to suck, but it was even better than I expected. Sure, it's not the same as the movie "The Conjuring" but there is definitely a similar vibe. I was also pleased to see the actor of the antagonist was decent. The thing is, that makes the movie more believable and more interesting. The story is not as deep as the original, but it was good to see a decent story. I was also quite surprised to see the appearance of the demented nun. As for the main girl, I actually like the way she was portrayed. Although, I felt the character development was somewhat lacking. Overall, I was impressed by this movie. It was also great that they didn't focus too much on the "ghost" in the house. It was enough to have to see her. Overall, I was surprised at how good this movie was. Sure, it's not as good as the original, but it's also not as bad as the critics say it was. I give this movie a 9/10.

I really liked the Nun. There are a few scenes in the film that I won't spoil for those who haven't seen the film, but most of the film was exciting and made me think about my past and that scares me a lot. I've seen the film with my son and he really enjoyed it. The director does a good job of showing the audience the different emotions the actors were feeling. The camera movement was impressive and I think it made the film a lot better. The acting was good and it was a good horror movie. It was scary, but I think that scares children a lot more. I think that a lot of people are too young to be scared by a horror film, but I think that is why people do not like horror films.
