I saw this documentary on the Food Channel, and was amazed at the depth and breadth of the subject. The images and stories are so rich and meaningful that it is hard to describe in words. I was a little skeptical about the authenticity of the stories and the subjects, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is not a documentary. It is a glimpse into the lives of the Cuban people, with their own stories and problems. It is not about the United States. It is about the Cuban people and their struggles. It is about the strength of the Cuban people, their courage and their resolve. It is a glimpse into the lives of a nation that has been trying to survive and rebuild, and the struggle to survive. I highly recommend this film.
