While the Bill Hicks comedy "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" was an abomination, it's really not as bad as the recent attempt to retell the story with Bobcat Goldthwait as the writer. It's certainly more clever and a lot more realistic than a lot of the other attempts that try to do a similar approach, like the "Abomination" in which poor William Atherton is mistaken for a gay Nazi and tries to get into the Nazi party. "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" is actually more interesting and clever than this film is, despite its lame title. There's a little bit of absurd humor in the story, but it's the comedy that works, and it's a lot better than I expected it to be. The story involves Dr. Phibes, who isn't even half as annoying as Phineas and Ferb were in their early days. Even though he spends a lot of time running around in a lab in a flat white lab coat with an orange tie and glasses, he's still the coolest character in the movie. The whole thing is pretty much ignored by a lot of the scenes in the film, and the ending is really just a complete lack of plot. Still, the comedy works. Besides the likable characters, the storyline is quite interesting. The premise is kind of a ripoff of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, but there's a lot more to it than that. Phibes comes to his father to beg for help and get his head in order, as he has created an entire virus of a zombie strain that wipes out all other zombies. He needs to get his head in order to stop the spread of the virus and kill the baddies, but he's not sure if he's the hero or not. He'll tell you that he's just a doctor doing his job, and then he'll tell you that he's just a doctor doing his job. It's as silly as they get, and Phibes is very much the part of the film that needs to be funny and realistic. He's got this pretty nice self-doubt throughout the whole thing. He's the kind of villain that you actually think is funny, even if he's rather bad-ass. He just keeps talking about it in this monotone voice and even when he's saying things like "I'm gonna get you next!", he's saying it in such a way that you can't help but get into it. Another highlight of the film is the sidekick. I have to admit that I'm a bit biased because the character of Bobcat Goldthwait is one of my favorites, and even though the character is a little too funny for me, he's still good. Phibes does a good job at being his sidekick, and even though it's sort of a cliche, he does a good job at having a good laugh. My favorite scene from the film is his entrance into the hospital. The whole hospital is filled with patients who are dying because of the virus, and Phibes himself walks in and sees it, and then he starts laughing. He starts making jokes about what a smart fool he is, and then the entire hospital laughs with him. It's a scene that I absolutely love and even though I've seen the film a lot, it still gives me a good laugh every time I watch it. I also loved the section where Phibes gives a speech to his father about how he should have made a few jokes instead of ruining the doctor's work. I guess he does a lot of personal thing like that, like when he speaks with his father, he says stuff like "I'm not gonna argue with you. I know you're right." and "I'm not gonna try to get you out of here. I'll just go home and sleep". The jokes that the father does are great, too, including one where he says "I don't believe in miracles", and then he says "I don't believe in miracles". "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" is a great film for kids and it's good for adults, too. It's a lot of fun and has a lot of laughs, but if you're not into that kind of humor, you may want to pass this one up.

I must confess, I had no idea what I was getting into when I went into this movie. I think I rented it because it was rated PG-13, and I was curious to see what they could do. I was very pleased with the movie itself, though it was a little slow at times. The film is about a revolution in the Chinese Communist Party, the result of which is a dictatorship under Mao Zedong. The hero is played by Jet Li, who is great in his role. I will admit, the movie is long, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The film is as simple as it can get, and that makes it more exciting. It does not hold back on making you think, which I appreciate. I think the film is also very well made. It is full of Chinese culture, as well as all the various "Chinese" characters. The acting is great, especially from the young cast. I thought they did a great job with the young cast. I do think, however, that the older cast did a good job, especially from Christian Bale. I also do think that the fight scenes are too long at times. They tend to get repetitive and overly drawn out. However, it is still a very enjoyable movie, and it is my first film review on this site. I think it deserves more credit. However, this movie is for entertainment purposes only. If you are looking for something different and more serious, then I would avoid this film. It is very slow at times, and there is a lot of violence in the film. However, it is worth the price of admission. The ending is also a bit disappointing. It seems like they are trying to show us some kind of enlightenment, which I found to be more of a "turn your brain off" kind of film. But, if you are looking for a good action film, then you should give this one a try.

As far as violent movies go, this one is pretty good, even though it suffers from some plot holes. The plot is based on the very popular comic book, but the movie is about a man that has the power to kill anyone he wants. This is the story of a young man named Kent (Izabella Miko) who finds out that her older brother, Chuck (Chad Michael Murray), has died, and he decides to get revenge for him. She does this by killing people who have stolen from her brother, but later finds out that she can use this power to get what she wants. As the movie starts, we see a man who is a journalist for a TV news show, and who is married with a young daughter. He is then forced by his wife, and then his daughter, to kill a mob of people, who stole from him. He tells his reporter that he has killed these people because of his girlfriend, who was killed in a car accident, and his daughter that she was dead. Then we see the picture of him, who is a famous boxer, and later he is shown using a gun to kill a group of people. When Kent is killed by Chuck, it is not a surprise because Kent has the power to kill anyone he wants. Kent has to fight a big fight to get the power, because Chuck will never forgive him for killing his girlfriend. Then Chuck uses the power to kill the bad guys, and Kent will never forgive him. Kent saves Chuck's life when Chuck was on the plane, and he later calls Kent, because she can see his face. Chuck promises Kent that he will always be her boyfriend. Kent is able to get the power of killing to carry out her revenge, by killing all the people who stole from her brother, and by using the power to kill Chuck, so Kent can go to Chuck's house. Then Kent returns to Chuck's house, and discovers that he has been dead for about ten years, because Chuck's family had lied to him. Then Kent goes to Chuck's house, and gets the power to kill Kent. Kent has to fight Chuck to get the power, because Chuck's father refuses to help him, and is dead. But then Kent finds out that Kent's father has been lying to her for years, and he now knows who her father is. She will never forgive him, so she decides to go and find out who her father is. Then Kent is able to get the power to kill Chuck, so she can go to Chuck's house, and get the power back. Then Kent kills Kent's father, and then her boyfriend, to get her revenge. I guess this movie is better than the original comic book. But the original comic book is better, because it shows the movie. So if you liked the original comic book, you will probably like this movie. I can't think of any characters in this movie that you can't understand. I just think that it is an important movie to watch, because it gives you a picture of what happens in real life, and it shows how people really get the power of killing people.
