Description Australia, 1975. The beach suburb of Nobbys Beach is a place that revolves around surf mats, baby oil, boxed wine and the new miracle of Kentucky Fried Chicken. 14 year-old Jeff tries to find his feet in a world changing faster than his hormones, and deal with his crush on shy and sensitive girl-next-door Melly. When the beach town suddenly hits the spotlight after the body of a 200-ton whale is washed ashore, Jeff and Melly think it's the biggest thing that ever happened in their lives. Meanwhile, their eccentric parents are catching up with the sexual revolution that has also washed up on Australia's beaches. And just like the decaying whale, it's all about to go spectacularly wrong.

Although this movie is one of the most forgettable I have seen, I found it to be entertaining, and worth watching. A group of young people have an anniversary party, and one of the kids asks the party organiser, "What if we did a Christmas movie?" The answer is, "I'd make it a holiday movie. I don't know how you could top The Sound Of Music, but I can make it a party movie." After some thought, the group agrees to do the movie. The plan is for the kids to live out their holiday. At first, things seem to be going well. They are all having fun, and have a lot of fun with the kids they know. They're making out and going to parties. The family starts to become a little suspicious. The family looks at each other and ask, "What the hell are we doing? They're killing their time with nothing to do." The family begins to suspect that the group's fun is a cover for their activities, and they decide to go on vacation. They meet the friends who have a group of people who are their own people, and they start to question what they are doing. One of the guys, Jesse, is growing close to his dad, but the other guy, Charlie, isn't so sure of him. One of the boys, Jake, starts to get caught up in the group, and starts to question what his friend, Billy, is doing. When they come back home, the kids begin to have nightmares about the people they knew in the group, and start to question what they have been doing. It's not long before they realize what the group is doing, and the movie turns into a nightmare. I think the film was okay, but it's not something I would recommend. The film starts off well, and there are some funny scenes. There are some good messages, but it isn't the type of film you would see. The film isn't too long, and the film isn't very violent. It's just an average film that I would recommend if you like the holiday movies. I rate it 7/10.
