The story of the war against the hordes of zombies in San Francisco is so compelling that it's hard to watch the film without it becoming a film of its own. It's the story of a group of soldiers who go on a mission to destroy the zombie scourge before it's too late. There's no single character who's the main protagonist, but instead each character is a link to the others. Each of the soldiers have their own background story, and the story is told through their actions. The zombies are not the main characters, and this makes it much more effective. Each of the soldiers has his or her own unique story to tell, and the zombie story is woven into the film's plot. The zombies are simply characters, and they're a great deal more interesting than the soldiers. There are no monsters here, only people who live in the city. There are no real action scenes, and the film doesn't try to convince you that the zombies are invincible. Instead, it plays on your fears of the living dead, and it does it very well. It's not an action film, but the film does make you jump and scream. It's almost like a horror film. This film is very atmospheric, and you're drawn into the story, and in some ways, it reminds me of a more realistic film. It's also a very dark film. I think that's why it works. I found myself wanting to jump and scream, and I didn't want to let go of my fear. I think this is a great film for people who want a good scare. It's very scary, and I think it's worth seeing for that reason alone. 10/10
