Description Based upon the novel "The Good Shepherd" by C S Forester, this is the thrilling story of the leader of an Allied convoy crossing the North Atlantic in 1942 as he faces relentless attack by a Nazi submarine wolf pack. The leader of the convoy's destroyer screen is a US Navy commander making his first Atlantic crossing. The story focuses on the his command responsibility as he fights the cold, the relentless night, the brutal sea and his deep fatigue as he chases down the attacking submarines in the deadly game of cat and mouse. The exciting story, a thrilling ride-along with the beleaguered captain, so deeply portrays the elements of battle command that for a long period of time the book was used as a text at the US Naval Academy.

I'm a big James Haneke fan. I'm also a big Haneke fan. And I'm also a big Steve Buscemi fan. And I also love Haneke. But I have to say that in spite of Haneke's power and influence, the film had some problems. It didn't really go into the complexities of the Nazi's attitude towards Jews and the Holocaust, the Gestapo and their agents, and the way the war in general was actually fought. It really could have benefited from going into the main focus of the movie, and that is the treatment of the WWII era. Also, the movie's depiction of the Holocaust was rather dry. You can't even really get any sense of how it was being treated. Haneke's movies are always very emotional and very philosophical. And he always seems to have a great grasp of the history of the world. So the Holocaust in the movie really didn't bring out any depth to it. In fact, I was a little disappointed by it. It was a bit too dry. And I also found the treatment of the idea of racism very depressing. I think the film could have made the Nazi's look like something that they were really in the midst of, but instead, they are just this evil, vicious, racist group. So the movie itself could have been much more powerful and, I think, much more effective. I think it is a movie about a movie. And the movie itself is also about a movie. The movie has a lot of subtle and important messages, but I think the movie could have been much more powerful if it was actually about the Holocaust. I think that Haneke's treatment of the Holocaust could have been a powerful film. But I think it wasn't. I think Haneke could have made a movie about the Holocaust that was more powerful and more affecting. I think he should have made a movie about the movie. I think it could have been a great movie.
