I have been a fan of Darren Aronofsky since I saw him at the Cannes Film Festival and I've seen his first film, Pi, and the follow-up, Requiem for a Dream, both very much enjoyed. The Last Time was a little different, but it was still an excellent film. For me, it's his best film. But I'm sure many people will disagree. I believe that this film is excellent and that I would rate it at the top of my list of favorite films of all time. The acting in this film is excellent. It is one of the best performances I've ever seen from one of my favorite actors. Julianne Moore, Michael Pena, and Kate Winslet are fantastic. They all play their characters with such conviction. Pena especially steals the film and is my favorite character in the film. His performance is quite mesmerizing and I will be sure to watch this film again when it comes out on DVD. The story is also very good. The film is a journey of a boy named Theo, a child actor in a small town who is not getting any older. He is living in a mental hospital for his performance in Requiem for a Dream, but he has a heart of gold and dreams of being an actor. Theo decides to act in a play. But then, after one of his performances, a new playwright (Alan Arkin) is hired by the town and they want to stage a play that the town will not show in their theater. Theo refuses to do it. The town is ready to kill him, but Theo is able to escape. And he starts acting again, this time as a child. Now he is in a play, but he is not getting any younger. The movie is a drama, but I do not think that this is a drama at all. I think it is a very serious film. The plot is complex and this is definitely not a film that I would recommend to anybody who does not have a high intellect. But I would certainly recommend it to anybody who loves a good film and is willing to sit down and watch a very emotional and interesting story. I will not say anything about the film, because I don't want to give anything away. The movie is excellent and I have rated it very highly. But I would like to warn people not to watch the movie before you read the full review, because I am not saying anything that the writer of the review wouldn't tell you. I will say that this is not a film for everyone and it is not an easy film to watch. It is a very emotional film that is extremely dark and very disturbing. I believe that this film is very good and that I would rate it at the top of my list of favorite films of all time.
