This is my first review of a movie, and I'll be honest. I'm a huge Michael Mann fan, but I have to admit that I was skeptical about this film, since it was the first movie from his. I had heard a lot of things about this movie before I watched it, and I was surprised at how good it actually was. There are so many things in this film that make it stand out. The script, the acting, the directing, the cinematography. This is a very realistic film. It's about a group of friends who meet up to watch a movie. A group of friends that they just met a few days ago. They are all high school students, and the movie begins with a series of flashbacks that show how these friends met. The movie is a typical gangster movie, but it's nothing like the typical gangster movies. It's more of a movie about friendship, and how it can come back to bite you in the ass at times. I won't go into any of the characters, but I do want to point out the supporting characters in the movie. They really help the story along. Some of them, like the characters played by Anthony Mackie and Kevin Bacon, are very much "old school" as far as gangsters are concerned. Some of the characters, like Deon Cole, Jami Gertz, and Henry Rollins, are very hip hop oriented. They really added to the authenticity of the movie. This is a movie that I think any movie fan would enjoy. The acting is also great. Michael Mann really did an excellent job directing this movie. The photography is also great. It really captures the feel of the 1970's and 1980's. The cinematography really made the movie. There are so many things in this movie that really make it a great film. It's definitely not the best movie I've ever seen, but it's one that I would recommend. It's definitely not your typical Michael Mann film, but I think it's a very realistic film. It's a good story, and a good movie.
