I think the first time I saw this documentary was in the late 90's when I was searching for information on the discovery of a shipwreck in the Red Sea. I remember looking at the footage from National Geographic and what appeared to be the ghostly white hull of the "Queen Anne's Revenge" with the first photographs that came across my radar. After having read other reviews about the boat, I went and bought it off ebay and I watched it over and over again. I thought it was amazing how the footage came across, especially the shots of the ship, as well as the filming of the "Queen Anne's Revenge" as it drifted out to sea. I didn't know what to expect at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's amazing how much information this movie has given me. The documentary is not just about the ship but the people on board as well. I was very impressed with the way that the documentary did not include any sensationalized footage or commercials. It shows the crew's daily life, the trials and tribulations they went through in trying to save the ship and the story behind the ship. It really showed how the crew dealt with the ship and how they dealt with the loss of the boat. The crew's stories are the heart of this documentary and they're interesting. The only thing that I found a bit weak about the documentary is the fact that it focuses on the hull of the ship and not the actual people. The documentary includes a lot of footage of the crew and their day-to-day life on the ship, but not all of them. I didn't like that. The only thing that I can say is that I do recommend this movie. It's very inspirational and I was impressed with how it was able to show the crew's struggle in trying to save the ship and not to mention the stories of their experiences on the ship. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.
