Description An epic portrayal of the events surrounding the infamous 1819 Peterloo Massacre, where a peaceful pro-democracy rally at St Peter's Field in Manchester turned into one of the bloodiest and most notorious episodes in British history. The massacre saw British government forces charge into a crowd of over 60,000 that had gathered to demand political reform and protest against rising levels of poverty. Many protesters were killed and hundreds more injured, sparking a nationwide outcry but also further government suppression. The Peterloo Massacre was a defining moment in British democracy which also played a significant role in the founding of The Guardian newspaper.

I'm sorry, I'm going to try to keep this short, but I have to make a point. This is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen, and it was made by people who were not about to give up any time soon. If you are going to see this film, make sure you do it with a group, because this film is meant to be seen with a group, not just a few friends. I have to add that I am not a fan of the film, and I am not sure I will ever be a fan of the film. It was so well made, I could not stop thinking about it after I left the theater. I could not stop thinking about how great the people who made this film must have felt, and I think it is just the best film I have ever seen in my life. The music was wonderful, and the cinematography was amazing. The best thing about this film was the actors. All of the actors were outstanding. They were believable, and the audience was able to see their emotions and struggles, which was really important. They all had such wonderful chemistry together, and they all seemed to be able to get along so well with one another. I don't think I have ever seen a film that had so many different characters, and so many different actors that I could not tell who was who. I have to say that I feel this film is very close to being a masterpiece, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a great movie. I have not seen a film like this since I saw Casablanca. It is a film that has touched me so much, and I want to see more like this.
