This is the first of the three parts in the film adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel "Oliver Twist" in which a man's criminal life is turned upside down by the end of a particularly dark night. Based on the story in the one-act play by William Shakespeare, the film takes its name from a rumour which began when a young child caught an awful sight of a doll for the first time, which turned out to be Oliver Twist, the doll that has been haunted by a devil. Now, that's just wicked. If you haven't seen the film yet, check out the end credits and see the original song from the play, which was written and performed by Richard Burton, the one person in the world you can say that about. It's a masterpiece.

Well, I was a little sceptical when I first heard the title of this film - I mean, do people actually go to the cinema to watch a film that is too violent to be called a horror film? But I watched it, and it was a different story. Sure it was very violent, and it had quite a lot of blood and gore. But it was also an interesting movie. The plot was very interesting, and the characters were very well developed. The twist towards the end of the movie is also really neat and creative. All in all, I really enjoyed this movie, and it was a very entertaining film. I give it a 9 out of 10!

This is a really good movie, it's full of surprises, the characters are well developed, the plot twists are awesome and the special effects are very impressive. I like the fact that the story of this movie is not as predictable as most other horror flicks, it's full of twists, the characters are well developed, it's full of action and suspense. The actors in the movie are amazing, the direction is really good and the music is very good. The one thing I really like in this movie is the special effects. You can really see what they have done to make the movie better, this movie is very good. 9/10

The House That Jack Built is one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in a long time. It's a real mystery what happened to this movie after it came out. We all know how good "It Follows" was. So, what did this film do right? It wasn't afraid to have fun. That's good. Having fun is what keeps the audiences interested. Now, there were some parts that were kinda creepy. But I was at least laughing a lot. The characters were well-developed and everyone had something to them. The acting was amazing. I'd say it was possibly one of the best performances I've ever seen from the entire cast. The horror elements were so well-done that it was almost scary, even when you didn't expect it. And there were some really memorable scenes. It's a bit gory at times, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. I was afraid for the characters, but I was so fascinated with what was going on that I was able to overlook the gore. One thing I found really interesting about this movie is how well-done it is. The editing, the lighting, the camera angles, and just everything about it was excellent. It seems like a lot of movies have come out recently that are pretty mediocre and a bit boring. The House That Jack Built is by far the best of the genre. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding adaptation of the James Joyce classic by the great Guy Maddin. I saw this movie about a month ago and have to say that it really made me feel the need to go out and read the book and get it. Maddin really knows his stuff. I loved his idea to make it an all star cast and this was an excellent cast. I think this movie was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and the lead actress won the award for Best Actress. The movie is a lot of fun. There is a lot of gore, violence, sex, and nudity. A lot of jokes and puns but I also like it because it is a true story of a dark and lonely man that is doomed to die by his own self destructive behavior. I really liked that because I really don't like all the movies that people make about that subject. This movie is really sad and it also has a lot of fun moments. All in all a wonderful film that I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a truly great horror film. A 9.5/10

Jack Nicholson is a bum; a survivor of the mentally retarded and unstable orphanage run by an evil eccentric (Jack) and his equally eccentric and pathological wife (Kate). Jack is considered a "normal" person, but Kate is a bad actor, a complete sop to the insane. Kate is an obsessed child, but not to the extent of her husband. She is a good actress, but her acting skills are rudimentary. Jack Nicholson is a great actor, but he cannot carry an entire film. The script is outstanding. The direction is simple, but effective. The sets and photography are wonderful, and I especially love the basement set. This is one of the most psychologically powerful films I've ever seen. And it is also one of the most fantastic. Jack Nicholson has never been more psychotic and a woman is very good at playing off of him. The films is probably one of the most under rated films ever. This is one of the most under rated films of all time. And it deserves every award it won.

This movie was fantastic, the suspense was awesome, the music was great, the cinematography was awesome, the acting was awesome, the script was great, the directing was great, and the pace was amazing. It was about a young man named Jack who is a fifteen year old with a lot of problems. One of the most heartbreaking things about his childhood was his mother's alcoholism. This movie portrays the life of a fifteen year old young man with the harsh realities of life in the world. Jack is a teen who is extremely athletic and has a great imagination. He can find the most unlikely places in his neighborhood. The movie is not perfect. There are some things in it that I did not understand. I thought that Jack was supposed to be mute or deaf. It is because of the social desegregation of the 1960s that there was a lot of racial tension in the early sixties. In the movie, it seems that Jack is going to be another "white boy" who is dumb. But at the end of the movie, Jack is able to find the strange little things that will help him stay alive. I will not go into any details of the movie. I recommend this movie to anyone. You will not be disappointed. I give it a 10 out of 10. P.S. I also want to tell everyone that Jack is one of the greatest movies ever made. A brilliant movie that is more important than any other movie. I can watch this movie over and over again.

After the ending credits rolled I didn't know what to expect. To say the film has a strong story structure would be an understatement. But this film really does have an amazing plot. It's not complicated, but it's very clever. I didn't know what to expect. It was all I could think of was, "I have never seen anything like this before." It is one of those films you either love or hate. But I love it. I've seen it five times now and I'll watch it again. I've seen it with friends and we all love it. I'm a sucker for these "psychotic killers". The fact that this film is an original and original is what keeps it fresh. I'm not a big fan of indie films, and this movie is an exception. I think anyone who is a fan of "Choke" and "The Wackness" (both of which I also love) should give this movie a try. If you are a fan of indie films I recommend you get a copy of this film. I have read comments from people who have read the book, and I am surprised they still think it is such a good film. It's really a unique story, with a story that could go anywhere. If you are reading this you probably already have a great idea of how it will end, but I will give you a hint. When it does end you will be so touched you will be crying.

Eli Roth's debut film "House That Jack Built" is easily one of his most creative and terrifying films to date. Based on a graphic novel, Roth's screenplay takes us on a journey from the West Coast to New York City in a story that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. The film's focus is much more on the psychological, which is what makes this film so scary. Roth's direction is outstanding, and you really feel like you're on the set, as every actor brings an intense and passionate performance. The storyline itself is very chilling, and it is definitely one that you will be scared to death in. Overall, "House That Jack Built" is a very unique film that will leave you shaken and scared. While it may not be Roth's most mainstream film, it is definitely one that will stay with you.

*Spoiler* One of the coolest films I've seen all year, and for a film that's not about death it's easily one of the most violent. There are about a dozen deaths, including the one that leaves the studio executive completely drained. I don't think I've ever seen so many people shot with guns before in a film. The very real threat of a future zombie apocalypse is beautifully conveyed in the movie, and the performances of the main actors are probably the best performances of the year. The ending is brilliant, showing the different ways the people can survive and gives us hope for the future.

First of all I must say that I have seen so many of these type of movies that I am a bit familiar with how they all work, and so I can say I don't have any major problems with how this movie was made. But I would say that this movie is actually the best out of all the horror movies I've seen, and that's saying a lot since I've seen all these genre movies. The setting, the music, and the atmosphere is so well done that you don't even realize it's a horror movie until the second half, and the whole film is just a little bit too long, but it's not that bad. The main character is pretty well written and you care about him, he has his problems, and it's hard not to feel for him. I'd say this is one of the best horror movies I've seen, and I can't wait for the next one.

I give this film a 9 out of 10. All the acting is superb, the script is original, and the direction is great. I feel that this film has taken the genre by storm, and this is an example of a film that should be seen by all. I give it a 10 out of 10.

I have seen a lot of films that have given me nightmares in the past few years. They are all dark films with themes of violence and gore, but they don't give me nightmares. Even the art films are something that I have seen many times. The House That Jack Built is different. It is not dark, nor is it a violent film, but its effect is the same. Horror fans are gonna love it. It has a number of sub-plots and the main focus is on a group of kids who are a part of a play that is about to go on. The main character, Jack, is extremely disturbed by the life he has been leading. He is caught up in a drug-smuggling ring and feels it is all because he is so bad at his job. He is having a hard time adjusting to his new life and the people around him. The director has done a great job at creating a realistic and intriguing story that can be enjoyed by both teenagers and adults. The acting in this film is great, the story is great, the violence is great. If you don't have the chance to see this film, rent it or catch it on TV. It is worth it.

This is the rare movie that is dark, twisted, and just creepy in a good way. There are a few slight plot holes, but who cares when the film is this good? I like it. I enjoyed the movie. The acting is great, the story is interesting and creepy, and the cinematography is very well done. I'm really looking forward to the director's cut, which is coming out soon. This movie is worth your time and money.
