Description André is an 18-year-old boy who lives near an aluminum factory in the industrial city of Ouro Preto, in southeastern Brazil. One day, after a fatal accident that has occurred in the factory, he is sent to the home of the dead worker, Christian, to collect some of his belongings. There you will find a newspaper that describes the last years in the life of the worker, a man who spent his entire life in the midst of poverty and social oppression. The first film directed jointly by Joao Dumans and Affonso Uchoa tells the adventures, loves and despairs of Cristiano, a fascinating character whose lyrical gaze immerses us in the reality of the most disadvantaged class in Brazil.

The film begins with a young man, Chico (Alexandra Maria Lara), who is apparently a "ghost" haunting a woman (Eva Agresti) in her apartment. After he is accidentally killed, he appears in the form of a young woman named Marisol (Lina Salas), who claims to have been abandoned by her father. She runs away from her abusive father and is sent to live with her grandmother (Maria Elena Carrasco), who is a witch. Marisol's mother (Domingo Guzman) is an alcoholic and murders her patients. As she becomes more depressed, she begins to believe in her ghosts and to take out the demons in her life. When Chico returns to his apartment, he is attacked by the ghost of his father, who wants him to take Marisol back. After Chico agrees, he learns that Marisol has also been haunted by her father and she has killed his family. Marisol wants to get revenge on her mother and in the process she becomes more psychotic and abusive. The ghost of her father attacks her mother and Marisol kills her. Marisol kills her father's girlfriend and Marisol ends up murdering her mother. This is a very intense film. The film is a slow burn, so you may find yourself waiting for something to happen. There is a lot of emotional connection between Marisol and Chico. This film is definitely not for the faint of heart. The film is an effective psychological thriller, but the ending is pretty disappointing. The last thirty minutes of the film is the most intense part of the film, and it is certainly worth seeing. The film is worth seeing, but you may be disappointed if you have not seen it already. I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a psychological thriller, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good film. 8/10
