Description The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding with his wife Carmela. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

What is this film about? What does it mean? The short answer is simple: money and power. But the long answer is that it is about someone who is a real threat to the well being of the Mob. The film is based on the best selling novel of the same name by Robert Evans. But for those who don't know the story, there is one important thing that is different. The book is set in the 1960's, but the film is set in the 70's. This means that the film has to follow the novel from the 1960's to the 70's. But this difference didn't bother me much. I read the book in 1981 and I thought that it was an excellent book, but it has no impact on me. But I still liked it. But the film is set in the 70's, so the effect is different. However, the story itself is still interesting. A simple Mafia family is threatened because their leader is in jail and their rival is in jail. So they decide to carry out the plan themselves. But this is not the best idea. But the film is enjoyable because it has that kind of emotion to it. But I think it is still better than the book. But it still has that kind of effect on me. It is hard to find good films about Mafia families. Even though I liked the book, it was not the best book that I have ever read. So I thought that I would not like the film. But I had not read the book, so I wasn't expecting that much. But the film had a very good effect on me. When I watched the film, I felt like I was watching the novel. There is a very good story behind this film. There are very good actors in the film, and that is good enough. But the movie is not without its flaws. I also thought that it was a little bit slow in parts. And although it is a gangster movie, it is not a comedy. It is still a very good film, but it is not as good as the book. The film is a well told story, and the acting is excellent, but the story itself is not as good as the book. 7/10

At the beginning of The Godfather, we're introduced to Michael Corleone, a man who is one of the most feared criminals in New York City. We're also introduced to his young son, Robert, who is haunted by the memories of his father, who has been gunned down by rival mobsters. The first thirty minutes of The Godfather are the best of the film, as we witness Michael's rise to power and the end of his reign as the most powerful crime boss in the city. The action sequences are brutal and violent, and most of the film is set in the high-rise apartment buildings and in the inner city streets, often underlined with an almost unbearable level of profanity. We are introduced to a number of characters, including the young Michael's son and his fiancée, and two of Michael's goons, who we learn are brothers. The relationships between these characters are played out over the course of the film, but the story ultimately revolves around Michael Corleone. The film begins with Michael calling his son up to tell him to get his ass back to work and to get some sleep. The boy responds by saying, "I got your daddy back." I laughed out loud at the comment because I couldn't help but think of the classic Bob Hope line, "You're going to make me a sandwich!" The scene is set to a song that Michael's father had taught him in school, which tells us that Michael was an orphan and that his mother was killed in a car accident. This may be the first time that we see his father's voice, which is sadly not heard at the end of the film, but the film does not take a backseat to this fact, as it does a great job of showing us the motivations of both the Corleone family and the characters. The film is a classic, as it stands out as one of the most memorable movies of its time. It's certainly not for the faint of heart, but as one of the best crime dramas of all time, it's worth seeing. 8/10
